About

In Texas, young adults with complex medical needs getting life-saving Medicaid-funded services in the community , lose essential benefits when they turn 21.

THEY STILL NEED THE CARE.

According to a December ,2008 U.S.Department of Justice report, Texas must provide more locally-based disability services.People with complex medical and special needs must have choices.

The 2009 legislative session is over and a HOSPITAL LEVEL OF CARE WAIVER WAS NOT PASSED. Please do not abandon Evan White and young adults like him. Continue to visit this website for updates and to learn more about what you can do to help.
